Yggdrasil Gaming, which is the online gaming provider majority-owned by Cherry from Sweden, has just released their first online slot which is fully customised for Cherry’s new online casino Spille Automater. This is definitely a departure from the traditional Sevens and Stripes kind of slot machine game, as they have gone for something which really fits the brand and has a modern take which will appeal to high rollers, allowing the new online casino to offer something really unique which no other casino in the world can give to their customers, which is sure to gather interest amongst potential new players.
They are the first operator to launch the new slot from Yggdrasil, which is set to be titled Jokerizer. It is the first in a series of online slots which the company are intending to release, and the launch marks the start of the company’s journey towards being a full-service games provider. “We have extensive experience from developing online slots, and we have invested significant resources in finalizing Jokerizer,” said Yggdrasil Gaming CEO Fredrik Elmqvist. “With this release, we have confirmed Yggdrasil’s ability to provide world class quality slots. We can now provide a very competitive portfolio of games for both mobiles and computers.” The game integrates traditional slot symbols but then puts them into a modern five reel game, using a mystery win element to make sure that the excitement levels are high, and creating a high roller game which will attract big bets but also great big wins. It is the end result of a collaborative project with Spille Automater, with the intention of creating a bespoke product which fits exactly what they are looking for and will allow Cherry to create future growth from the own platform rather than always providing games for others.
“I believe that Jokerizer will make a significant contribution to SpilleAutomater’s revenue,” said Cherry CEO Emil Sunvisson. Meanwhile, Yggdrasil have promised that they intend to release more slot games next year and through the coming months, so we can expect to see more titles from them on a regular basis if all goes as currently planned. They will no doubt keep a keen eye to evaluate the success of the new slot game and indeed the new casino which it launches through, but so long as everything is received just as they expect to be we should see no hurdles to prevent them coming up with new games very soon. Everyone involved in the project has so far been very positive about the partnership, particularly praising the games developers for creating something which really sets the brand and brings out their style. “Yggdrasil showed us a refreshingly different attitude from other developers when it came to making customized slots projects,” said SpilleAutomater.com’s Bjørn Honerud Grene. “With Jokerizer, they have brought the right balance between recognition using iconic slots symbols and innovation with the playing style, in order to take our slots market to the next level.”
