The popular television series, I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! looks set to receive its own online slot machine game to be put into online casinos in the near future, after ITV Brand Extensions signed an exclusive deal with 32Red to develop the series into slot games. The deal which has been agreed upon will run for three years initially, with the possibility of being extended in the future, and will include the iconography of the brand, the theme tune which is used, and features such as the chance to allow players to participate in their own Bushtucker Trial games.
Players will also have the chance to win an all expenses paid trip to the Gold Coast of Australia in order to sample life in the jungle just as they have seen it on their television screens, though perhaps with a little bit more luxury. This will add a huge amount of excitement to the games, as you can get the chance to win something really interesting that everyone will want to go for. Mark Quayle, head of marketing for 32Red, said: “We are very excited to release the ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ slot, it’s an entertainment show that everyone knows and we are confident that the association with such a strong brand will prove to be a huge success for us. The slot game will be available for casino, poker and bingo players at 32Red to ensure all of our players can sample the thrills of the jungle.” It remains to be seen whether similar deals will be extended to other online casino sites, or whether the exclusivity will remain with 32Red; it does seem however that the particular game which they develop will be restricted to them only, as it will be their own in-house product.
William van Rest, ITV’s director of commerce & ventures added: “ITV is pleased to be working with 32Red on this fantastic brand extension for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! The slot design brings the jungle and its creepy creatures alive with a great new game for 32Red players. We are sure it will be a very popular addition to the 32Red offer.” The current series of I’m A Celebrity is still running on television now, so it is definitely a timely moment for the announcement to be made, and despite having encompassed many series already, it seems as though the popularity of this show has not yet seen any hints of dying down. Whether it is the ability to see celebrities in a more natural environment and find out what they are really like, or just the chance to watch them being humiliated and put through a series of disgusting or difficult trials, it seems that a lot of people really love watching the show, which is sure to mean that there is going to be a lot of interest in the game when it launches. Keep your eyes peeled for more details.
